Care & Concerns

The Care and Concern Ministry of Zion UMC was established in 2005 in an effort to be better able to monitor the needs of the congregation. The Ministry includes preparing meals for families going through challenges in their lives such as illness or death and joyful occasions such as the birth of children.Notes are sent to members or constituents who haven’t attended worship but who have been missed. Maybe they would like to talk to someone but aren’t sure how to ask. Through our Worship Committee we are involved with a Prayer Shawl Ministry. Many members knit these beautiful shawls for those in need of some comfort. Order forms are available in the sanctuary or by contacting us here.

Zion truly does care for its “Church Family” as we are sure any member will tell you. Any member who could use help during tough times, please contact us.
