The Zion UMW meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm usually in our Fellowship Hall.
August 17 Lisa Hockman brought Holistic Nurse Ann Cowper who presented an enlightening program about our health and we planned the upcoming Fall Crafts Festival. September 21, Christine Braxton invited Pat Booth to share with us her very inspirational words and thoughts as she did last year.. The October 19 meeting will be given over to our Fall Crafts Festival on October 23 being planned by Lisa Hockman with Rev. Barb.Doreen Ganoung will present our new Zion Cookbook for sale and we will coordinate with the UMM for a fun time and bring in dollars to assist in our service to the Lord. On November 16 Rev. Barb will present "What Gift Shall I Bring?" We welcome thoughts and ideas now for our Zion UMC Float in the December 4 Christmas Parade down the street of Spotsylvania Court House and we will meet in the Fellowship Hall December 11 for a Potluck Brunch..and put together our Christmas baskets for our Zion UMC shut-ins. In August Zion Quilters presented the MW Hospital Radiology Department with a beautiful quilt to be auctioned.Our Sanctuary has beautiful new drapes installed the first week in August, thanks to Nova Scott and Libby Hall and the Restoration Committee.
