If you are receiving this issue of the newsletter, Zion asks for your help in locating the persons listed below.Our records indicate that they are a member or constituent of Zion United Methodist Church.If they are not presently worshiping and fellowshipping with another congregation, we want to invite their return to “reaffirm the baptismal vows and return to living in the community” (BOD, pg. 144) of faith called Zion.If another congregation seems the right choice for them, we want to know so that we can provide a certificate of transfer or assist themin withdrawing their membership from Zion if that is their wish.
We are called to be a community of faith, and our effectiveness is enhanced by the participation of all members and constituents.If there is some reason that prevents a member's or constituent's participation at Zion, please make us aware of that so that we can be of help.
